The “Save Our Shows” survey is out now and the fans have a definite favorite show they want to see back next season. Plus Alex Trebek talks about retiring from Jeopardy.
SAVE OUR SHOWS SURVEY
USA TODAY conducted a poll to see what TV shows in danger of being cancelled should be “saved” and return for another season. According to the survey, “CSI:NY” was the favorite show with 38% of the votes. Second place went to “Body of Proof” and “Vegas”. The survey had more than 116,000 people participate.
ALEX TREBEK NOT READY TO RETIRE
Jeopardy would not be the same without Alex Trebek. Alex has been asking the the tough questions since 1984 and despite the rumors of his retirement, he says he’s not going anywhere. “Everybody’s speculating on my retirement and I don’t know why,” Trebek told the Los Angeles Times. Alex is currently 72 and is still in contract through 2016. As far as retirement is concerned it has crossed his mind, “Well, yes, I’ve given thoughts to retiring, for crying out loud. I’ve been doing the show for 29 years. Why wouldn’t I think about retiring?
