The Friday night party came early this week when Jerrod Niemann packed Toby Keith’s I Love This Bar & Grill in Rancho Cucamonga Thursday for a night of country music and all-around good times.

Jerrod played a jam-packed, two hour concert. Incorporating heart-filled love songs like “Lover, Lover” and “What Do You Want,” with high energy guitar solos and his bar favoring “One More Drinkin’ Song.”

The band was saluted with a wave of mason jars and drinks of all kinds while rocking to his current single “I Can Drink To That All Night.” One fan was so caught up in the moment that she stumbled on stage with high hopes of hugging her favorite country star, only to be carried off by a group of security guards.

When he wasn’t playing guitar, he thanked fans by shaking hands and giving fist bumps to the entire front row.

Niemann told a story about how his fiddle player promised him that if they ever played a show in California and the crowd wanted to hear “The Devil Went Down To Georgia” that they would play it. The crowed roared and chanted “Charlie! Charlie” as a sign that they all wanted to hear them play Charlie Daniels‘ classic song. Jerrod told the crowd, “Unfortunately, he doesn’t have his fiddle with him tonight… So I’m going to make him play it on guitar!” Guitars wailed while the band played a cover that would’ve had Charlie Daniels himself rocking along.

The night ended with a well-rounded group of cover songs including “The Ring Of Fire”, “Santeria”, and even Bob Marley’s “Three Little Birds”. The crowd was so alive that Jerrod could have played all night and still no one would have wanted to leave!
