By Jackson Dodd

We’ve been bombarded with wedding talk here, as one of our administrative assistants is getting hitched.

And as she goes through her wedding planning journey, we get to hear about the white dress, the guests, the cake, the car, the whole darn thing (wait, isn’t that a Shania Twain song?)

In an effort to aide her in her planning (ease her pain?), we’ve put together a couple lists of our favorite songs for those integral wedding dances.

Here’s our picks for the best country mother-son dance songs.

“My Wish” by Rascal Flatts

“I Hope You Dance” by Lee Ann Womack

“Through The Years” by Kenny Rogers

“The Dance” by Garth Brooks

“Mama’s Song” by Carrie Underwood

“Simple Man” by Lynyrd Skynyrd

“Never Alone” by Lady Antebellum

“Then They Do” by Trace Adkins

“Angels” by Randy Travis

“Like My Mother Does” by Lauren Alaina

“The Baby” by Blake Shelton
