Rejoice, couch potatoes! Netflix is giving you every excuse you ever needed to beg off date night, throw on some pajamas, and stay in for the night. Or the whole weekend. Whatever! Here are some recommended viewing options for Netflix this fall.

Jessica Jones–Netflix dipped their toes into the Marvel Cinematic Universe and the world of superheroes with “Daredevil” earlier this year. “Jessica Jones” promises to be equally dark and violent. A retired superhero who now works as a private eye, Jessica Jones works through the trauma of her past while tracking down the man who inflicted it. All 13 episodes will be available Nov. 20.

The Ridiculous 6–Adam Sandler’s western comedy had barely started filming when the controversy began. Native American actors were unhappy with the stereotypes in the script; Sandler insisted that it was all part of the goofy, slapstick nature of the comedy. The extended cast includes Blake Shelton, who will play the part of one-time Inland Empire resident, Wyatt Earp. The Ridiculous 6 debuts Dec. 11.

Hemlock Grove, Season Three–Fans of the original horror series were saddened to hear that the third season would be the last. According to some viewing stats, “Hemlock Grove” has more people watching then the ceaselessly-hyped “House Of Cards.” Season Three debuted on Oct. 23. All three seasons are available for viewing now.

A Very Murray Christmas–Sometimes it’s hard to tell if Bill Murray is serious or going for laughs. The trailer doesn’t make it any clearer but it does show that Murray can pull in some A-list guest stars for the fun (George Clooney, Miley Cyrus, etc.) This one goes on the “must watch” list if for no other reason than curiosity alone. The holiday special debuts Dec. 4.

Jessie/Liv And Maddie–Additional episodes of both Disney Channel shows hit Netflix in November. Kids will love to binge watch too….and who knows? Maybe mom and dad will actually enjoy some of the over-the-top antics of these talented kids. November 2015.

If we ever do get into fall weather, it will feel good to stay home and do nothing. So fire up the grilled cheese sandwiches and let the bingeing begin!!
