San Gabriel Complex Fire (Also known as the Fish fire and Reservoir Fire)

As of 10:25am Friday, June 24th The San Gabriel Complex, which consists of the Fish Fire and the Reservoir Fire has a combined acreage of 5267 acres burned. It’s 1200 acres for the Reservoir Fire and for the Fish Fire 4067 acres. Containment is at 30%.

There’s 1256 personnel are currently engaged on working to extinguish these fires including 117 engines, 28 handcrews, 5 water tenders and 7 bulldozers, helicopters and fixed wing aircraft.

Until 6am Saturday, June 25th a Red Flag Warning is in effect.

There was a power loss in Azusa Canyon, due to this the Los Angeles County Public Health Department has ordered small water systems in the canyon be under a “Boil Water” order.  Before use, boil the water for about 1 minute at a rolling boil. This order was issued as a precautionary measure to ensure that the water distribution systems do not have bacterial contamination.

After water passes the two tests to that show there is no bacterial contamination, the order will be lifted. With the exception of Camp Williams, this order is applicable to all small water systems in Azusa canyon.

As for residents in the city of Duarte who live in the Las Lomas area north of Willowgreen Drive are still under evacuation. If you live in the Mesa area in Duarte you are also still under evacuation. Including residents north of Mount Olive Drive north of Woodlyn Lane, Spinks Canyon, rim Road, Golden Meadow Drive & High Mesa Drive.

ID will no longer be checked of folks traveling through the Brookridge area. Including those who live north of Royal Oaks Drive, east of Green Bank Avenue & west of Encanto Parkway.

Dogs, cats and all other small pets are allowed to return home.

All other evacuations remain in effect.
