Kenny Chesney had a major screw up on stage Saturday while in Pennsylvania.

A local police officer was supposed to attend his concert, but after a run in with a suspect  while on duty he was shot 7 times. The police officer, Christopher Dorman, who was hospitalized made a video for the local news station. In his video he said, “Kenny, don’t forget me.” The story was passed along to Kenny, who must not have gotten the whole story, because while he was on stage he told the crowd the officer had passed away. “Before we get going with the rest of the show, last night, a Philadelphia police officer was shot seven times. In the hospital on his bed…he passed away, but before he passed away he made a video that he wanted to come tonight so bad, and he said, ‘Kenny, please don’t forget me.’” After the show, Kenny received accurate information from a Police Sergeant. Kenny then called the officer in the hospital to apologized. He told the officer that they’d watch an Eagles game and have some beers one day.
