San Bernardino, CA – Stater Bros. Charities delivered almost 98,000 pounds of fresh food to Second Harvest Food Bank of Orange County Monday, July 25 2016.

The “Harvesting Hope in the Summer” campaign is important during the summer months as food banks experience a decrease in their food reserves. As the school year comes to an end, children lose the access they had to nutritious food during the school year.

This summer campaign is prevalent to the children in our community and surrounding communities; helping to bolster food reserves by donation of nutritious food items to local banks.
