According to a The Telegraph, people appear to be naming their newborn babies after Pokemon characters.

The most popular on the list? Eevee, which has seen a spark in girls names, climbing 1,377 spots in the last year, along with the snake shaped Pokemon Onyx, which has jumped 2,184 spots.

Linda Murray, the Editor in Chief of Babycenter, a website that keeps track of trending baby names, says, “Millennials are particularly attracted to technology and ’90s nostalgia, which is one of the reasons we think Pokémon Go is already having an impact on baby naming trends among pregnant women.”

Now let’s just hope that mom and dad don’t start carrying them around in Pokeballs.
