On this weeks edition of Next In Nashville’s Thought You Should Know we have new music from Morgan Wallen, Kenny Chesney, Carter Winter, Jake Owen, American Young and many more of your favorite and/or soon to be favorite country artists.

“Whiskey Glasses” – Morgan Wallen

After being a contestant on The Voice in 2014, Morgan Wallen packed up his bag and began his journey to Nashville.  Less than a year after relocating, Morgan was signed with Big Loud Records and is currently on his radio tour promoting his new EP The Way I Talk, which is out now on iTunes.

“How Can You Love Him (You Don’t Even Like Him)” – Reckless Kelly

Reckless Kelly has released their first single, “How Can You Love Him (You Don’t Even Like Him)” of their new album, Sunset Motel. The new album will drop late September and will be the ninth studio album released by the Austin natives.

“Beautiful Messes” – Hillary Scott & The Scott Family

Hillary Scott & The Scott Family have released their first album, Love Remains.  The thirteen track album is a mixture of support, love, and hope throughout every track.

“Point of View” – American Young

American Young’s new album will be released on Friday, August 5th,  in the mean time the duo released a handful of tracks including the one below.  Jon Stone and Kristy Osmunson have written songs for Kenny Chesney, Lee Brice, Blake Shelton and many more country artists.

“Setting the World on Fire” – Kenny Chesney and Pink

Yes, that is correct. Kenny Chesney and Pink have released a duet titled, “Setting the World On Fire.”  The single is the first release off Kenny Chesney’s new album titled, Cosmic Hallelujah which will be released sometime this fall. Find out what Kenny Chesney had to say about the new single here.

“Bummin’ Cigarettes” –  Maren Morris

Maren Morris released Hero on June 3, 2016, in just two months shes has taken a stand in country music with two singles flowing the radio dial. “Bummin’ Cigarettes” is a bonus track off Hero and can be purchased at Target.  Scott, Heather and Kelli spoke with Maren on the celebrity KFROG phone, see what she said here.

“Solving Problems” – Brent Cobb

Singer-song writer Brent Cobb has written songs for Miranda Lambert, Luke Bryan and many other country artists.  Now he is getting ready to release his new album this October titled, Shine on Rainy Day. “Solving Problems” is the first track released from the anticipated album.

“The Weekend” – Brantley Gilbert

Brantley Gilbert has released the new weekend anthem titled, “The Weekend.”  The new track was embraced by countless shows of audiences who brought their A-game each night, but even more so on the weekend.

“Somebody Else Will” – Justin Moore

Justin Moore has released another track off the new album, Kinda Don’t Care – out August 12th.  “Somebody Else Will,” is that confidence booster song encouraging one to not hold back because someone else won’t.

“Comeback Kid” – The Band Perry

Every now and then a song is released that just hits you, hits you with lyrics that seem so simple, but mean so much.  The Band Perry’s new single, “Comeback Kid” does just that.

“Life Is A Honeymoon feat. Ziggy” – Florida Georgia Line

Florida Georgia Line’s new album, Dig Your Roots will arrive on August 26th, however until that day is here the duo has released several tracks including, “Life Is A Honeymoon feat. Ziggy”.

“Everybody Dies Young” – Jake Owen

Jake Owen’s new album, American Love is out now.  “Everybody Dies Young” has a different meaning than what might be assumed. The track talks about embracing life and living each day to the fullest. Find out more about the album from Jake’s interview with KFROG here.

“Hit Song” – Carter Winter

Carter Winter releases new album titled, The Whiskey in Me and features nine new tracks. “Hit Song” takes you on a love story to where it began on the dance floor and the desire of being one’s hit song. “Boy go and turn that radio down/ I’ll give you something you can sing about/ I want to be your hit song/ Lose your mind when you turn me on.”
