If you haven’t heard of Pokémon Go then you’ve probably been hiding under a rock somewhere. I kid. I kid. But, seriously since Niantic’s Pokémon Go app was released last month it quickly became one of the most-downloaded mobile apps among Inland Empire (and nationwide) college-age students.

If you’re a Pokémon Go player you’ll have the opportunity to capture new Pokémon and battle for control of the main PokéGym on campus at SBVC.

San Bernardino Valley College is celebrating its 90th anniversary with many events one being unique, a Pokémon Go Tournament in the college’s historic Greek Theatre.

Mark your calendars for the SBVC Pokémon Go Tournament! Being held at San Bernardino Valley College at 701 S. Mount Vernon Ave. in San Bernardino, August 11 from 6:30pm–9:30pm. The tournament is free and open to the public. Good luck!
