The Fire that is burning north of Beaumont, dubbed as the Bogart Fire, has burned 1,470 acres and is 60% contained. There are 58 engines, 17 crews, 6 dozers, 7 water tenders, and 1 helicopter working the fire today.
Officials have indicated that this fire is human-caused and urge anyone with information to contact the Arson Hotline at (800) 633-2836. Calls are anonymous.

The Bogart Fire burning in the Beaumont area is 45% contained and has burned 1,300 acres. Evacuations have been lifted for the Banning Bench area.

The Bogart Fire is 1,250 acres and is 20% contained.
Evacuation orders for Highland Springs MHP have been lifted. Evacuation orders for Banning Bench remain in effect.

The Bogart Fire is now at 700 acres and 5% containment. Evacuations are still in effect for Banning Bench.
Fire officials have determined that the Bogart Fire was human-caused. Anyone with information witnessing or have knowledge of juvenile activity near the entrance gate to Bogart Park in Beaumont early this afternoon are urged to call the Arson Hotline at (800) 633-2836. Calls are anonymous.

Evacuation orders have been issued for all residents on the Banning Bench. Evacuation orders for Highland Springs Village Mobile Home Park on Overland Trail in Cherry Valley.
200 homes have been evacuated and one building has burned.

A brush fire, dubbed the Bogart Fire, is burning in the Beaumont area has spread to 400 acres, Tuesday. Evacuation orders have been issued for all residents on the Banning Bench. Evacuation orders for Highland Springs Village Mobile Home Park on Overland Trail in Cherry Valley are also in place. Containment is at 0%.
Nine air tankers and five helicopters are assisting.
The fire was reported at 12:25 p.m. near the area of Winesap Avenue and International Park Road and spread from seven to 100 acres in just over an hour, according to the Riverside County Fire Department.
