According to the Los Angeles Police Department, someone vandalized Donald Trump’s star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, which is located in the 6800 block of Hollywood Boulevard sometime between Tuesday night and Wednesday morning.

In 2007 Donald trump was honored with the star, while he was starring in and producing the T.V. show “The Apprentice.”

It appears someone destroyed the Republican presidential nominee’s name and star with possibly a sledgehammer or some other similar tool.

CBS Los Angeles reports Donald Trump’s star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame has been repeatedly targeted by vandals starting when he first became the Republican front-runner and then the Republican presidential nominee.

A man who has identified himself as Jamie Otis said he originally wanted to completely remove the star in an effort to auction it off and raise money for the women who have accused Donald Trump of sexual assault, according to Deadline Hollywood. But reportedly when his attempt to remove the star failed, he abruptly decided to destroy and smash it into pieces.

The vandalism is being investigated by the LAPD. If you or anyone you know has any information about the identity of the suspect you’re asked to please call (213) 972-2971.
