Pack your bags, Driftwood Festival is this weekend! One thing you should definitely remember to bring this Saturday is your sunscreen, but there will be some items that won’t be allowed at Doheny State Beach.

So before you pack the car with all of your goodies, here’s a list of things that you CAN’T bring with you to┬áthe event:

  • NO In’s & Out’s for safety reasons
  • NO Re-entry
  • NO Illegal substances (no drugs of any kind)
  • NO Outside food or beverage
  • NO Large, oversized bags
  • NO Alcohol (alcohol will be sold at the festival)
  • NO Knives/Weapons of any kind
  • NO video cameras or video recording equipment. Video recording is prohibited.
  • NO Instruments
  • NO Stickers/Flyers
  • NO Glass/Glass containers
  • NO Flags
  • NO Tents/Lawn Furniture/Large Tarps
  • NO Picnic Baskets/Coolers
  • NO Pets (except service dogs with proper paperwork)
  • NO Professional cameras and/or equipment (no large/long/zoom/detachable lenses or tripods)
  • NO Fireworks/Explosives
  • NO Umbrellas of any kind
  • NO Laser pointers
  • NO Skateboards/Scooters/Wagons/Motorized Vehicles
  • NO Bicycles inside the festival grounds.
  • NO Illegal vending is permitted.

Here is a list of items that you CAN bring with you:

  • Keep hydrated! Empty water bottles with an attached lid as well as empty cambelback style water backpacks
  • OK Small Blankets (one per person, max size 8′ x 8′)
  • OK Beach towel
  • OK Low back chairs (one per person)
  • OK Sunscreen
  • OK Cell phones
  • OK Binoculars
  • OK Fanny packs
  • OK Personal hand-held cameras (i.e. small digital or point-and-click cameras; no long/large/zoom/detachable lenses; no tripods; no pro cameras)
  • OK Unframed backpacks
  • OK Cigarettes/Lighters
  • OK Cash/Credit/ATM cards
