Tim McGraw took home the trophy for “Best Country Song” at Sunday night’s American Music Awards for “Humble and Kind,” but judging from the look on the face of his date for the show, he was already a winner, even before it started!

He posted a picture to his social media accounts on his way to the festivities, a selfie from his middle-daughter Maggie, beaming with excitement, captioned, “My date for the night!”
