‘Tis the Season to Make a Difference!

Pediatric cancer does not take a break during the holidays.  Hundreds of children will come through the doors at Loma Linda University Children’s Hospital during the month of December who are battling cancer.  You can make a difference in their lives.  Donate online now by clicking the button below, or call 1-800-825-5437 beginning at 5AM on Wednesday as K-FROG broadcasts LIVE from Bass Pro Shops at Victoria Gardens all day to raise money for children fighting cancer.

For each $200 donation pledged during the Radiothon, a child at LLUCH will receive a K-Frogger Friendship Bead & a Stater Bros. Freedom Bead.  These beads will go on a child’s “Hero Bead” necklace.  When a child is receiving treatment for cancer at LLUCH they are given a necklace, each bead on the necklace honors the child’s courage in dealing with his or her cancer treatment.  The beads can be anything from a cat for a CAT scan, to a child with no hair for hair loss, to a bone for bone marrow transplant. Some children, like Michael, have many beads to represent the long road they have battled.
