Police have arrested a 29-year-old Perris man on the suspicion of him stealing from at least three women he met online.

According to the Riverside Police Department, Monday afternoon they took Oscar Mandujano-Quinonez, of Perris, into custody after he was spotted at a local park intending to meet up with a potential victim that he had been communicating with online.

CBS Los Angeles reports Mandujano was booked into the Robert Presley Detention Center, and was charged with two counts of grand theft.

It was around mid-November when the investigation of Mandujano started, after he met with a woman he connected with online in Riverside.

Mandujano created a bit of a diversion to get his victim to step out of his silver Saturn. Once the woman got out of the vehicle, he sped away at a high rate of speed with her purse and belongings still inside the car.

There had been a warrant issued for his arrest in connection with a similar incident that happened in Moreno Valley.

According to police the investigation is still ongoing.

If you or anyone you know has any information about this case, you are urged to contact the Riverside Police Department at (951) 235-7863.
