TV dad Alan Thicke passed away yesterday.

According to TMZ, Alan was playing hockey with his 19-year-old son when he had a heart attack. Alan regularly played hockey, but yesterday he started having chest pain and got nauseous. An ambulance picked him up and took him to a nearby hospital where he was pronounced dead.

Alan is most known for his role as Jason Seaver on “Growing Pains” and also writing several TV theme songs for shows like “ Different Strokes”, “Wheel of Fortune”, and “Growing Pains”.
