Many of us were shocked, others stunned and plenty were surprised when news broke earlier this week of Sam Hunt’s engagement to longtime on-again, off-again girlfriend Hannah Lee Fowler.

Only question is, who is she?

Taste of Country has done some digging and discovered a few things on Fowler. She was the inspiration for the song “Cop Car” a ballad written by Hunt and sang by Keith Urban, and was also the reasoning for his album name Montevallo, the city in Alabama which she is from.

Fowler is a 2006 graduate of Evangel Christian School, a home schooling program and her father Scott Fowler is a pastor at a Presbyterian church.

So what does the future Mrs. Hunt look like?

Well she’s not on Facebook, her Twitter has been deleted and there’s no trace of an Instagram. There are pictures of her on her MySpace, but there hasn’t been activity on that page in a few years.

Fowler’s sister, Rebekah, recently posted this photo on Instagram, congratulating the couple on their engagement.

Hunt also released a new song on New Year’s Eve titled, “Drinkin’ Too Much,” which sounds much like a tell-all letter to win back Fowler.
