Pomona police shot and killed a man Wednesday evening after he shot and injured two other people.

According to police the fatal shooting happened in the 900 block of North San Antonio Avenue at about 7 p.m. last night.

CBS Los Angeles reports neighbors told them that a tenant was being evicted from the apartments in the area when he shot and injured the apartment manager and the manager’s girlfriend.

The suspect, whose name was not immediately released, was shot and killed by police after they arrived to the scene. Neighbors said the man had been unruly in the past.

Police say that as of last check the apartment manager and his girlfriend who were airlifted to a hospital were in stable condition.

The number of police officers involved and the exact circumstances of the police shooting has not yet been confirmed.

The Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department is still investigating the whole situation, per department protocol in officer-involved shootings.
