Country Music will be represented at the Presidential Inauguration!  Big & Rich and Cowboy Troy have signed on to perform for the Great American Alliance Inaugural Gala.

The event will take place on January 19th in Washington D.C., the night before the swearing in of President-elect, Donald Trump.

In a statement, John Rich said, “We’re thrilled to be performing in our nation’s capital during this historic moment in time. A presidential inauguration is a uniquely American event, so we are honored to be a part of it and hope to help make it a memorable event.”

It’s no secret that Rich has always been a cheerleader for conservative politics. Back in 2008, he even wrote a campaign song for then presidential candidate John McCain called, “Raising Cain”.

John became close to Donald Trump when he appeared on Celebrity Apprentice in 2011, ultimately winning the reality show competition.
