Former professional wrestler Jimmy ‘Superfly’ Snuka has died at the age of 73, as confirmed by World Wrestling Entertainment.

In a statement posted on their website, the entertainment company said “WWE is saddened to learn that WWE Hall of Famer Jimmy ‘Superfly’ Snuka has passed away.”

The 73-year old was battling stomach cancer. He also had dementia and was in hospice care in Florida.

Snuka’s daughter, Tamina Snuka, posted this photo on Instagram earlier with the caption reading, “I love you dad.”
