Monday could have been a tragic day for Harrison Ford luckily, everything turned out ok, but his flying fate is still up in the air.

Harrison was flying into John Wayne Airport in Orange County on Monday when he flew over an American Airlines Boeing 737 and landed on the taxiway instead of the runway. When he landed he asked the tower, “Was that airliner meant to be underneath me?”

Here’s the scary part of this, other than almost hitting another plane. If that plane was on the runway standard protocol would be to abort, because of the potential for a collision. Also, the taxiway and runway are marked differently so there’s no confusion. Harrison just passed his pilot’s medical exam last month. You might remember his scary crash in 2015 when he landed on a Santa Monica golf course. He was badly injured.
