Trisha Yearwood has been nominated for an Emmy for Outstanding Culinary Program for her series Trisha’s Southern Kitchen!

Trisha was nominated in the same category with the following cooking shows:

Outstanding Culinary Program Nominees:

“America’s Test Kitchen”
“Barefoot Contessa: Back to Basics”
“Eat the World with Emeril Lagasse”
“Guy’s Big Bite”
“The Mind of a Chef”
“Trisha’s Southern Kitchen”

Trisha’s Southern Kitchen airs on the Food Netwoork every Saturday.  Trisha also serves as the Executive Producer of the show.

Being a “foodie” myself, what I love about TSK is how real she is on the show, and how her recipes are perfect for busy families, plus she uses ingredients that are easy to locate in stores.  Add to that, she always has GREAT guests co-cook with her, including occasional guests appearances by her husband, Garth Brooks.

The show actually won back in 2013 in a tie with The Best Thing I Ever Ate.

The 44th Annual Daytime Emmy Awards will be presented on April 30th.
