Dierks Bentley is finally headlining Stagecoach 2017.

“In a lot of ways it felt like a long time coming, but in other ways, it’s felt pretty quick,” Bentley said in an interview with CBS Radio’s KFRG. “I was here the very first year, then almost headlined the year I played before Miranda Lambert, but it really means a lot to headline.”

Now that Bentley is headlining Stagecoach, the next thing he wants to cross off his list is singing the National Anthem in Nashville for the NHL Playoffs.

After Luke Bryan and Carrie Underwood sang before the Predators game, Dierks is ready to take his turn.

“Next time I’m around I’d love to go do it, I haven’t done it in a long time,” Bentley explained. “The last time I did it was before a Tennessee Titans Monday Night Football game.”

He even poked fun at his buddy Luke Bryan when he sang the anthem.

“I’ve watched Luke with his struggles over the years, he got caught one time reading off his arm,” Bentley laughed.
