Dylan Scott found out last week that he is going to be a dad.
Perhaps Scott wasn’t ready for a baby just yet after buying his wife a dog two weeks ago.
“I told her ‘Look, I know you want a kid but let’s just get a dog first,’ Scott recounted. “So I get the dog and two weeks later we find out she’s pregnant.”
It’s been a busy week for Scott, not only did he play Stagecoach and find out he’s going to be a new father, but he’ll also be performing the National Anthem at Dodger stadium on Monday (May 1).
“You always get nervous doing the anthem, that’s a big one to do,” Scott said in his interview with CBS Radio’s KFRG. “I wasn’t nervous today, but sometimes you forget things and that’s one you don’t want to forget.”
Scott made his Stagecoach debut today and it was a dream come true for him.
“Ever since I moved to Nashville, it’s something I’ve always wanted to do,” Scott said. “Everyone always talked about it and now I finally got to do it.”
