In her first ever Stagecoach, Shania Twain debuted new music and surprised the audience with guest performers Kelsea Ballerini and Nick Jonas.

“This is the party of the year for me,” Shania confessed. “I don’t get out much. I’ve been very busy in the studio [and], being a mom, being a wife, so this is my party night!”

Shania performed with an elegance and grace befitting her status as country music royalty, and fans cried as she shook their hands and posed for selfies. One girl even wore a leopard print jacket in honor of the video of “That Don’t Impress Me Much.”

The show was aided by pyrotechnics, fireworks, and choreography for the band made them part of the production, and not just sonic effects.

As promised, Shania debuted her new single “Life’s About to Get Good,” and with its easy hook, the crowd was singing along with her by the end of the song, which she described as being about “finding the light at the end of the tunnel. It’s really just a happy song.”

The biggest surprises of the night were Shania’s guests: Kelsea Ballerini and Nick Jonas of the Jonas Brothers. Shania introduced “Any Man of Mine” as being about “female assertion,” and then brought Kelsea on stage to the complete shock of the crowd, to perform the iconic song with her.

She described Nick Jonas as being a “new friend,” and he sang Billy Currington’s part on “Party for Two.” “Shania Twain is the reason I’m in music. I love you, Shania,” Nick said as he hugged her at the conclusion of the song.

Shania had a moment of reflection as she considered that this is her first Stagecoach, before performing the romantic “From This Moment,” and then inviting the crowd to sing along with “You’re Still the One,” explaining that it can describe a lot of different relationships, even though it frequently gets played at weddings and anniversaries.

She recalled writing “No One Needs to Know” “long before” her debut album, before breaking out a guitar to sing the early hit.

Before wrapping up Day Two of Stagecoach with fan favorite “Man! I Feel Like a Woman,” Shania announced, “I look forward to coming back.”

Judging from the audience reaction, she’ll be more than welcome.
