Billboard Music Awards: Country Winners and Red Carpet Moments

Country music was well-represented last night at the 2017 Billboard Music Awards.

In case you missed it, Blake Shelton was named the Top Country Artist.

He brought girlfriend Gwen Stefani, and when he took the stage to accept his award, he said he felt like the luckiest guy in the world because she was with him.  (Aw.)

In a surprising collaboration, John Legend and Florida Georgia Line performed a mash-up of Legends’ “Surefire” and FGL’s “H.O.L.Y.”, and surprisingly, it was well-received.

Kenny Chesney picked up 2 BBMA’s for Top Country Tour and Top Country Collaboration for his duet with Pink, “Settin’ The World on Fire.”

Chris Stapleton won for Top Country Album for his critically acclaimed “Traveller”, and in the Christian music category, Lady Antebellum’s Hilary Scott and The Scott Family snagged an award for Top Christian Song.

Sam Hunt performed “Body Like a Backroad” on the show, and walked the red carpet for the first time with his new wife, Hannah Lee Fowler.

They both looked stunning; Sam in a black tux and Hannah in a blush strapless gown.
