Rory Feek, recently performed for the first time without his late wife, Joey Feek, during an appearance on CBS This Morning.
Feek told CBS News’ Anthony Mason he hadn’t been interested in music privately for most of the last year and hadn’t intended to perform publicly again. He didn’t want to be on the stage without her.
He surprised CBS News’ Anthony Mason when he picked up a guitar and began to play.
Joey, who battled cancer for over two years, passed away at the age of 40.
