Brantley Gilbert is no stranger to ink.
He can add a couple of new tattoos to his collection, including one ginormous tattoo on his torso.
Gilbert, who is currently out promoting his new album and tour, “The Devil Don’t Sleep” posted photos of the tattoo process on his Instagram.
The first picture shows Gilbert getting an elaborate cross on his chest and stomach. In the caption, Brantley celebrated his faith with the following: “Praise the Lord who is my rock. He trains my hands for war and gives my fingers skill for battle. Psalm 144:1”
Then he added a tattoo on his hand that merely says, “Psalm”.
Gilbert uses his tattoos as a means of expressing himself and his beliefs, as evidenced a few years ago when he got a 2nd Amendment tattoo on his back of two guns, which you can see on Taste of Country.
Both are beautiful pieces of body art and certainly show a softer side to Gilbert, who is expecting his first child this year with his wife, Amber, who he married in 2015.
