Last week wedding dress retailer Alfred Angelo abruptly closed its doors, which left many brides wondering what was going on with their dresses.
Alfred Angelo closed all 60 of their retail stores last week, including 2 here in the Inland Empire (Rancho Cucamonga and Riverside).
The closure was a surprise to many brides and well as employees, who showed up to locked doors and a sign indicting the closure.
One store in Washington had so many panicked brides that the cops were reportedly called out to keep them from trying to break into the store.
Alfred Angelo filed for Chapter 7 bankruptcy on July 14, 2017. As a result, all stores and wholesalers are closed. Margaret Smith is the duly appointed Chapter 7 Bankruptcy Trustee. If you wish to be contacted regarding your order status once information is available please send an email to: alfredangelo@. We will post additional information regarding the status of dresses on this web-site as it becomes available.
We deeply apologize for the inconvenience and hardship resulting from this event. We greatly appreciate your patience. Thank you.
David’s Bridal is attempting to help out brides in a bind. They’re offering 30% off wedding dresses and 20% off bridesmaid dresses with an Alfred Angelo receipt. They’re also waiving the rush fees and alteration services on dresses from Alfred Angelo.
