This Labor Day weekend enjoy an inexpensive trip with the family to the movies as Southern California Harkins Theatres offers $5 movies.
You can see this summer’s blockbuster movies as well as the not-so fabulous ones all for $5 each this weekend in four Southern California cities where Harkins Theatres operates.
According to the Press Enterprise, Harkins is a family owned chain and they are celebrating their 84th anniversary this Labor Day weekend. Their home state is in Arizona and that’s where most of the 500 Harkins screens are located, but they also have a few theaters in other states like California, Colorado and Texas.
Harkins’ four Southern California theatre’s have $5 tickets available for movies like new releases such as “Leap!” and “Birth of the Dragon” and even some older hits like “Girls Trip” and “Dunkirk.”
It appears the $5 price is good for everyone in every age group.
You may want to keep in mind that Harkins does sell reserved seats at its theaters, so it might make it a bit harder to just walk up to get the discount.
