The devastation from Hurricane Harvey is spotlighting the strength of Texans. Pizza Hut is the latest business to step up and help its neighbors.

Despite the flooding caused by Hurricane Harvey, Pizza Hut employees are delivering pizzas to residents in need.
The Pizza Hut in Oak Lakes, Texas decided it wanted to help neighbors in need by preparing and delivering food to them.
The Pizza Hut’s manager, Shayda Habib, said “When I heard there were families in need, I knew we needed to act fast. I called my husband and asked him to gather up kayaks and meet me at the restaurant.”
That’s exactly what they did.

The store made pizza and then packaged them up in their red delivery pouches and loaded them in kayaks.
The local Pizza hut delivered around 120 pizzas it’s hungry neighbors.
Habib said, “The people in the houses didn’t expect us to come. It was so nice to see their smiles after so much gloom.”
She plans on delivering pizzas until the store runs out of food.
