“Are you ready for some football?” After a six-year hiatus, Hank Williams, Jr. is returning to ESPN’s Monday Night Football to sing the theme song, and this time Florida Georgia Line and pop star Jason Derulo will be joining him.

“BK I grew up hearing Hank [sing] ‘Are you ready for some football,’” says FGL’s Tyler Hubbard in a statement from the duo’s label, referring to his bandmate Brian Kelley. “So, to get to be on the remake of that and they’re bringing that back and Hank’s on it and [Jason] Derulo is a part of that, and for us all to get to team up together … and just the cool thing, a part of history that we grew up watching and seein’ come to life on Monday night.

“Now getting to be a part of it is super surreal and cool for us.”

MNF kicks off (pun intended) on September 11th at 7:10pm ET on ESPN, as the New Orleans Saints take on the Minnesota Vikings at U.S. Bank Stadium in Minneapolis.
