The Academy of Country Music is looking for interns to help with the 53rd Annual Academy of Country Music Awards and ACM Party for a Cause events that will take place in Spring of 2018 in Las Vegas.
According to the ACM’s website, the internships will be based in Los Angeles and start in early January and run through mid-April, including a 10-day stay in Vegas with hotel, travel, and meals provided. Interns will work with ACM staff in one of the following departments: Event Management, Operations, PR & Marketing, the ACM Charity Lifting Lives, Social Media, Creative and Content Production. Interns should also expect some general administrative duties.
All students are encouraged to apply; however, the ACM is especially interested in sophomores, juniors, and seniors in the following majors: Business, Communications, Entertainment Management, Festival or Event Management, Journalism, Marketing, Multimedia/New Media, Music Management, Non-Profit Management, Public Relations, Social Media, or Video Production. Required skills include excellent verbal and written communication, interest in the country music industry, professional demeanor, flexible schedules, well-organized, attention to detail, ability to work independently and meet deadlines, as well as knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite. The ideal Creative and Content Production interns will have experience using Adobe Premiere, Photoshop, and After Effects.
