Following the L.A. Dodgers 3-1 win over the Houston Astros at Game One of the World Series Tuesday night, Brad Paisley is set to sing the Star Spangled Banner Wednesday night (October 24th) at Chavez Ravine.

“Thrilled and honored to sing our National Anthem at Game 2 of the World Series,” Brad posted on his twitter account.

The Dodgers’ catcher is 27-year-old Austin Barnes, a graduate of Riverside Poly High. His high school teammate Jake Marisnick plays for the Astros, but is not on the active roster for the World Series while he recovers from a thumb injury.

The last time the Dodgers won the World Series was in 1988. Hopefully, the combination of Brad Paisley and Austin Barnes will be the Dodgers good luck charm!
