Chris Stapleton has had three number one albums, he’s won multiple Grammy awards and has performed along side Justin Timberlake. That’s not a bad resume.
But the 39-year old country artist is hungry for more.
In 2016, Stapleton knocked out his ultimate dream of performing at Nashville’s Ryman Auditorium and before he left the venue that night, he wrote something for the venue saying, ” “I’m going to have to get a new dream,” (via The Tennessean).
Stapleton has said he doesn’t have any new dreams in mind quite yet, but whatever it is, plan on it being focused all around his music.
“I always tell guys, anything we’re doing … it has to be about music first,” he said. “When it becomes about something other than that, we’re doing it in the wrong order. I want (fans) to come because of the music and leave thinking about the music, and not some stunt.”
