The Backstreet Boys are currently working on their 10th studio album and it appears they are “experimenting” with some country influence.

After making their way onto the country music scene on Florida Georgia Line‘s”God, Your Mama and Me,” Backstreet Boys member AJ McLean says the new project will in fact have country music on it.

“Yes, there’s a couple of tracks,” McLean told Rolling Stone. “We cut some Nashville songs recently, and just yesterday I was in the vocal booth,” added fellow member Kevin Richardson. “So we’re in the lab playing around, experimenting.”

The band has said some of their favorite Nashville songwriters include newer artists like Chris Stapleton and Sam Hunt as well as legendary voices like Vince Gill and John Michael Montgomery.

There has been no release date announced yet for the album and the group is also expected to announce a new World Tour in 2018.
