2017 was a huge year for Florida Georgia Line, but what would the duo say was their biggest “pinch me” moment?
“That’s really tough to say,” muses Brian Kelley in a statement from their label. “I’d say it’s selling out Wrigley or Fenway with the Backstreet Boys and Nelly. That was pretty ridiculous.”
But Brian admits that when he and Tyler Hubbard first thought of doing that, they had some second thoughts. “You know that was an idea that Tyler and I had cooked up, and we thought everybody would think we were crazy and we kind of pulled it off,” he recalls.
“It’s a good reminder that these ideas that come to your mind and you get here and there, you know, they’re not stupid you just got to take a chance and maybe move to Nashville or maybe ask the Backstreet Boys to get on a song with you. But good things happen when you take a chance and have a positive attitude.”
