Mirai Nagasu Celebrates Amazing Olympic Achievement

Last night (February 11th), Mirai Nagasu became the first American female, and only the third female worldwide, to land the extraordinarily difficult triple axel at the Olympics, and her elation after her performance in the free skate event was obvious.

"Guys, what a day. These are the moments we work for," the resident of Arcadia, California, posted on her Instagram account.

It helped the eight-person U.S. figure skating team earn the Bronze Medal.
