Milwaukee Brewers Pitcher, Route 91 Survivor To Honor Las Vegas Victims

February 27, 2018

Bubba Derby, a pitcher in the Milwaukee Brewers organization, will have a special message stitched into his glove this season.

That message will say "58 Strong."

The 23-year old was in attendance at Route 91 Harvest Festival in Las Vegas when a gunman opened fire and took the lives of 58 people.

"58 Strong this season," Derby wrote with a photo of his spring training locker and his glove sitting up top.

Hard to describe the feeling when I got to see these two beautiful brave women again after the nightmare we lived through. This is the start of an amazing life long friendship that will never fade. So happy to call you family now. Forever #vegasstrong #family #glorytogod
