Rejection is a part of life, just ask Maren Morris.

The "Girl" singer stopped by Late Night with Seth Myers and told the world how she was turned away by talent shows including American Idol, The Voice, America's Got Talent, Star Search.

Her most traumatic experience of them all came at the American Idol audition in Dallas when she was 17-years old and was told no right off the bat.

"My entire group got cut and they're like 'Sorry, you have to take the walk of shame,'" Morris explained about her audition. "I just remember being 17 and I had to walk through the parking lot and find my mom's car and cry on the way home with her."

She may not have gotten that golden ticket to Hollywood, but it all seems like things are working out just fine for Morris.
