Rest assured, that Brantley Gilbert isn't resting on his laurels during the pandemic, as he sat down with me this week to chat via Zoom from his "Dawg House" in Georgia.

Brantley, along with his band mates and road crew, have been busy building the ultimate man cave, deemed the "Dawg House" on his property in Georgia.  He's not ready for the big reveal yet, but gave me a quick glimpse into a somewhat military-themed building, decorated with trucks and toys and gifts he's received from fans over the years.

His family is healthy, and when I asked him if it was harder raising a little girl or a little boy, Brantley said he's gonna be ready for when 10-month old Brenley starts exploring on her own. Brantley and his wife Amber, also have 2-year old Barrett at home, and like most parents, Gilbert lights up when he talks about his kids.

We also had a chance to talk about his new single "Hard Days", a song that couldn't have been released at a better time, as the world tries to cope with the trials and tribulations of surviving a pandemic.

Brantley is looking forward to getting back out on tour in 2021. Grab the new single "Hard Days" wherever you download your music!
