Dodgers Among MLB Teams With Positive Coronavirus Cases

June 26, 2020

This week we got the good news that Major League Baseball was ready to make a return, but unfortunately some players, coaches, and officials may be delayed due to positive coronavirus tests.

The Dodgers organization has a couple confirmed cases. According to KTLA, Dodgers President Andrew Friedman said, “We have had some people in our organization test positive, none that have resulted in symptoms that have been problematic." He did not reveal who tested positive saying, "It’s very much a personal thing that if any want to share, it’s up to them.” Luckily, he did say that those people are doing well and are currently in self-isolation.

As of now players who test negative are allowed to access Dodger Stadium. The Dodgers first formal workout is scheduled for July 3rd.
