With Major League Baseball post-season underway, there's no doubt who Brett Young is rooting for in the playoffs.

“Oh, you know I’m a diehard Dodgers fan," he shares in a statement from his label. "My dad has been a Dodgers fan for 60 years, since he was eight years old. And he was just telling the story the other day about when they won the series in '59. He said, ‘I was riding my 10-speed around Long Beach, listening to Dodger games on my transistor radio, and I’ve been a fan ever since."

In high school, Brett was a pitcher for the baseball team, even earning a baseball scholarship to Ole Miss. Unfortunately, an elbow injury while he was attending Fresno State ended his dream of playing baseball professionally, but he still does throw around a few balls every now and then.

"We just got to be on the field the other day, me and my dad, playing catch on the field at Dodger Stadium. It never stops being the most special thing on the planet for me to share being a Dodger fan with my dad. And this is the third year in a row they’ve had a phenomenal team, and so I’m just hoping they can take this momentum into the playoffs and finish this one.”

The Dodgers take on the Washington Nationals Wednesday, October 9th, at Dodger Stadium. It will be Game Five in the National League Division Series.
