Scotty McCreery lit up the House of Blues, Anaheim Sunday night (May 13th), with an all-ages Mother's Day show that had the whole family on their feet.

As Scotty's artistry has grown, so has the production of his shows, with a two-tiered stage and impressive light show, but not so over the top to outshine this bright young talent.

His set included several songs from his recently-released Seasons Change album, but also went "back to the beginning" to play songs like "The Trouble with Girls" and "I Love You This Big."

With his own wedding just a month away, Scotty included the incredibly romantic backstory of his grandparents' courtship and engagement before playing his current single, "This Is It," written for his fiancee.

This incredibly likeable young man recalled writing his game-changing #1 hit "Five More Minutes" on February 5th, 2015, and noted that that evening, he'd be taking a red-eye back home to North Carolina before performing "Home In My Mind."

Opening the show was hometown favorites Temecula Road, who dazzled the crowd with not only their originals, but also their versions of songs like Chris Lane's "Take Back Home Girl," and pulling an audible by covering George Strait's "The Fireman" for "Grandma Linda."
