Beer Tasting and Supporting Our Veterans

Tuesday, September 18th

The American Legion was chartered and incorporated by Congress in 1919 as a patriotic veterans organization.

The American Legion is responsible for helping veterans and their families in a number of ways.

George Brightenburg Post Commander of American Legion post 216 in Corona talked about the services they offer veterans. He also talked about their fundraising event November 3rd, 2018 called “Amber Waves of Grain.”

The annual event features a parade, car show and local breweries offering beer tasting to help raise money for the services the American Legion Post 216 provides. They are currently looking for additional vendors and sponsors.
