Issues With Bail Reform

Among the many issues that emerged from the coronavirus crisis was the release from jail of individuals charged with a crime.  Many jurisdictions opted for the wholesale freeing of inmates in an attempt to limit the spread of disease in detention facilities.

As communities struggle to move into recovery mode, what does this mean for the many defendants who have been released? 

Jeff Clayton the Executive Director of the American Bail Coalition came on the program to talk about bail reform and some of the problems Covid-19 has caused the judicial system.
