Tobacco Industry Continues To Target Teens

Monday, August 31st

A new Stanford-led study reveals that more than 60 percent of public schools are located within 1,000 feet of tobacco retailers and there are far more tobacco retailers in the lowest-income neighborhoods than in the highest-income neighborhoods.

Campaign for Tobacco Free Kids President Matthew Myers came on the program to discuss details of the new research.

The findings demonstrate how the tobacco industry continues to target kids and vulnerable communities with their harmful and addictive products.
